Physics - Feynman Lectures on Physics, Atoms in Motion P3

This post isn't really a resume, but only some points that I think are interesting in the part 3, Atomic Process.

Atomic Hypothesis also describes processes.

What happens at the surface of the water?

R: Above the surface, we find a number of things: water molecules, as in steam, this is water vapor, which is always found above liquids, we also find other molecules like nitrogen, and oxygen, basically air, gas, and some water vapor.

Why is there water vapor above water?

R: The molecules are always jiggling around and sometimes ones hits harder and is ejected, this is the process of evaporation.

Thus, molecule by molecule the water dissapears
